Waiting Times For Wisdom Teeth Operations

EDM number 2573 in 2005-06, proposed by Keith Vaz on 13/07/2006.

That this House calls upon the University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust to reconsider its decision to make Mr Hiren Savjani wait two years for an operation to remove two painful wisdom teeth; regrets that the Leicester Royal Infirmary has suffered a reduction in its maxillofacial medical staff capacity; notes the significant increase in funding the Government has provided to shorten waiting lists; and considers that two years is an unreasonable and unjustified time to have to wait for the removal of wisdom teeth.

This motion has been signed by a total of 21 MPs.
