PRESIDENT'S AWARD FROM THE ROYAL SOCIETY OF CHEMISTRY 2006
EDM number 2451 in 2005-06, proposed by David Kidney on 27/06/2006.
That this House congratulates the hon. Member for Bolton South East on his well-deserved receipt of the coveted President's Award from the Royal Society of Chemistry; notes that only one such award is made each year and that last year's award went to Bill Bryson; and heartily agrees with the Royal Society's judgement in recognising the hon. Member's expertise, commitment and hard work in his promotion of the importance of chemistry.
