That this House condemns the shenanigans of Sir Alex Ferguson, the Manchester United Manager, and his continuing efforts to prevent Wayne Rooney from playing for England in the World Cup; and calls on the Prime Minister to use his long-standing friendship with Sir Alex to lobby for Rooney's inclusion at the appropriate time.
