CHILDREN'S HOSPICE FUNDING (No. 2)

EDM number 2277 in 2005-06, proposed by Bob Spink on 05/06/2006.

That this House warmly congratulates the Government on providing £27 million additional funding to replace the New Opportunity Fund money over the next three years thereby helping to avoid a short-term funding crisis for children's hospices; and calls on the Government to ensure that primary care trusts do not cut their funding as a result and that the Department of Health holds detailed discussions with the Association of Children's Hospices to establish a viable and fair long-term funding scheme for children's hospices.

This motion has been signed by a total of 65 MPs.
