Romford Royal British Legion Band And Corps Of Drums
EDM number 2275 in 2005-06, proposed by Andrew Rosindell on 05/06/2006.
That this House congratulates the Romford Royal British Legion Band and Corps of Drums on winning both the National Title and the National League Title at this year's event, held in Cannock, Staffordshire; recognises that this achievement was made all the more remarkable as it was the second year in a row in which the Romford Royal British Legion Band and Corps of Drums have won both titles, and in a competitive field of 24 marching bands; further congratulates Sgt Kirsty Evans for becoming the Solo Bugler National Champion and Drum Major Marc Prince for being crowned National Champion Drum Major and Drum Major of the Year; looks forward to the band returning to the championships next year; and wishes them continued success as they fly the flag for Great Britain.
