Mr Roy Bennett

That this House is gravely concerned by the appalling conditions under which Mr Roy Bennett, until recently a Member of Parliament in Zimbabwe, is being held in Chikurubi maximum security prison during the 12 month sentence with hard labour ordered by the Parliament of Zimbabwe; and calls on the African Commission on Human and People's Rights both to condemn the humiliating, inhuman and degrading treatment to which he is subjected and to demand that continuing hostilities towards Roy Bennett, his family and workers cease.
