New House Of Commons Whisky
EDM number 194 in 2005-06, proposed by Angus Robertson on 24/05/2005.
That this House congratulates world renowned Scotch whisky company Gordon and MacPhail in winning the right to supply House of Commons blended Scotch whisky; notes that this contract completes a rare set for the 110 year old Elgin-based company, who already supply Scotch Whisky to the Scottish Parliament, National Assembly for Wales and European Parliament; and commends honourable Members and visitors to the House to enjoy this particular `water of life' in moderation.
