Visit Of Mrs Gianna Angelopoulos-Daskalaki

That this House welcomes the visit to the United Kingdom of Mrs Gianna Angelopoulos-Daskalaki, Ambassador at large of the Hellenic Republic, leader of the organising committee of the Athens Olympic Games, to share her experiences of organising the very successful Athens Olympic Games and her views of the London Olympics in 2012; notes the huge success of the Athens Olympics, the transformation of the city of Athens because of the Games and the legacy of the Games to the city of Athens and to Greece, in large part due to the efforts of Mrs Gianna Angelopoulos; and believes the organising committee for the London Olympics could benefit from the experience of the Athens Olympics and Mrs Angelopoulos.
