Colchester United Football Club

That this House congratulates Colchester United Football Club on establishing a new club record of 10 consecutive victories; further congratulates the U's on being top of League One, reaching the Fifth Round of the FA Cup and the southern area final of the LDV Vans Trophy; congratulates Manager Phil Parkinson on being named League One Manager of the Month for January, the third time he has achieved this honour, and leading scorer Chris Iwelumo for being voted the Professional Footballers' Association League One Fans' Player of the Month; praises the entire playing squad for what has been achieved on the pitch under the leadership of Mr Parkinson, and the off-pitch team led by Chairman Mr Peter Heard and Chief Executive Mrs Marie Partner, one of only three women to hold such a high position in professional football; wishes the club's loyal supporters and everybody associated with Colchester United FC further success in the three competitions; and calls on all involved to deliver the promise of building a new stadium in 2007.
