That this House congratulates Cherwell District Council on having the best record in the South East of England of recycling and composting waste and of being one of the 10 best local authorities at recycling and composting in England; notes that this demonstrates the determination of Cherwell District Council to pursue cost-effective environmentally friendly policies for the benefit of local residents; and calls on the Government to reward district councils that excel in meeting their recycling targets.
