Cumbria Probation Service
EDM number 1409 in 2005-06, proposed by Timothy Farron on 18/01/2006.
That this House calls upon the Government to retain the Cumbria Probation Service and not to pursue the merger of the service with those in other counties along the same lines as the proposed police authorities restructuring; and supports the Cumbria Probation Board's stated belief that probation services should remain focussed and managed at local level.
This motion has been signed by a total of 4 MPs.
