British And Irish Lions Tour To New Zealand

EDM number 135 in 2005-06, proposed by Derek Wyatt on 18/05/2005.

That this House sends its good wishes to Bill Beaumont, manager, Sir Clive Woodward, coach, and Brian O'Driscoll, captain, of the British and Irish Lions team for their three Test matches against New Zealand; and hopes that they emulate the legendary 1971 Lions side by beating the All Blacks to win the series.

This motion has been signed by a total of 45 MPs.
