Safe Business Award To Kendal
EDM number 1247 in 2005-06, proposed by Timothy Farron on 13/12/2005.
That this House congratulates Kendal on winning the Safe Business Award in recognition of the work of the police, business community and local authorities in combating crime in the town; and acknowledges the dedication of all involved who have ensured that over the last 12 months anti-social behaviour has dropped by 24 per cent. while major crime including burglary and theft has dropped by eight per cent.
