That this House congratulates Shepherds Purse for their successful cheese production; regrets that they will no longer be able to produce Yorkshire feta cheese from 2007 in accordance with the EU rules as interpreted by the European Court of Justice; supports the move to rename the cheese Yorkshire Beta; and regrets the decision of the European Commission not to afford Yorkshire puddings the same protection as Greek feta cheese or French champagne.
