That this House welcomes the introduction of the Street Pastors Scheme in Kingston-upon-Thames by Kingston United Reformed Church and Oxygen Christian youth project; acknowledges that similar schemes have reduced street crime by up to 80 per cent. in some areas; applauds the dedication of all who work as street pastors; and hopes that the Street Pastors Scheme will help make Kingston town centre a safer place.
