North West Regional Assembly
EDM number 1193 in 2005-06, proposed by Graham Stringer on 05/12/2005.
That this House agrees with Manchester City Council and the Association of Greater Manchester Authorities that the Regional Spatial Strategy drafted by the unelected North West Regional Assembly is fundamentally inadequate and flawed; believes that there is no practical or theoretical reason for the continued existence of the Assembly; and calls for its immediate abolition.
This motion has been signed by a total of 7 MPs.
