Boeing 777-200lr World Record Flight

EDM number 1097 in 2005-06, proposed by David Marshall on 23/11/2005.

That this House congratulates the Boeing company on breaking the world record for non-stop commercial flight; notes that the 777-200LR can connect virtually any two cities on the planet non-stop; recognises the world-leading environmental performance of the new aircraft and its contribution to sustainable aviation; and praises the contribution of skilled British engineers to this and other Boeing aircraft.
