Merger Of Yorkshire Police Forces
EDM number 1067 in 2005-06, proposed by Philip Davies on 17/11/2005.
That this House objects to the proposal to merge North, South and West Yorkshire and Humberside Police forces; protests at the short period of time that police have been given to put forward proposals concerning the merger of police forces in Yorkshire; fundamentally disagrees with the creeping regionalisation of all the emergency services; and believes that West Yorkshire Police should remain as a single entity.
This motion has been signed by a total of 11 MPs.
