Private Johnson Beharry

That this House congratulates Private Johnson Beharry on being the first living recipient of the Victoria Cross, the highest award in the British and Commonwealth military, since 1965; notes that Private Beharry twice saved the lives of his colleagues while under enemy fire; and recognises that the Victoria Cross is held in very high regard and that Private Beharry's selfless display of courage has truly earned him the great honour bestowed upon him.
