Lothian And Borders Progress To Work Project
EDM number 780 in 2004-05, proposed by Michael Moore on 24/02/2005.
That this House congratulates the Lothian and Borders Progress to Work (p2w) project for its success in placing 100 people in work; recognises the project's efforts in helping to reintegrate people with histories of drug misuse, and in many cases a criminal record, into the employment market; notes that in addition to the 100 people in paid employment there are many more clients attending training courses and college; and congratulates this JobCentre Plus initiative partnered with Apex Scotland and Phoenix House in promoting social inclusion in the Lothian and Scottish Borders region.
