Comments Made By The Honourable Member For Beaconsfield

EDM number 688 in 2004-05, proposed by Pete Wishart on 08/02/2005.

That this House condemns comments made about Scotland by the Opposition spokesperson, the honourable Member for Beaconsfield, while trying to defend the Conservative Party's narrow-minded and short-sighted immigration policy; disagrees profoundly with the honourable Member's statement that Scotland is not a very attractive place for people to come to settle; and calls on the leader of the Conservative Party to require the honourable Member to apologise to the people of Scotland.

This motion has been signed by a total of 17 MPs.
