Foot And Mouth Disease

EDM number 65 in 2004-05, proposed by James Paice on 23/11/2004.

That this House believes the Government's failure to submit the video taken by Northumberland Trading Standards of the conditions on Burnside Farm to the Anderson Inquiry seriously undermines its claim to want to uncover the truth behind the foot and mouth outbreak; suggests that the Government is more concerned with protecting itself than finding out how the disease got onto Burnside Farm in the first place; and demands a clear explanation from the Government as to how Ministers could claim that the video contained no new evidence if they had not seen it.

This motion has been signed by a total of 60 MPs.
