Complementary Medicine And The National Health Service

That this House acknowledges the benefit that hundreds of thousands of people across the United Kingdom have derived from their treatment by complementary medicine; understands that in most instances it is genuinely complementary to the more traditional methods of treatment; and calls upon the Government actively to pursue a policy of promoting complementary treatment on the National Health Service, where appropriate, for patients who find it beneficial.
