That this House congratulates the Farmers' Union of Wales (FUW) on its 50th anniversary this year; welcomes its campaign to spread the message that Welsh farmers produce top quality nutritious food, meet the highest possible animal welfare standards and provide consumers with the range of food that they want in the 21st century, recognises its achievements in establishing more than a dozen offices throughout Wales to help the whole farming community; welcomes its intention to establish two further offices; recognises the challenges posed by the introduction of the Single Farm Payment scheme; supports dairy farmers in their campaign for a fair deal from major retailers; and wishes the FUW well in its three city European tour to promote British Breakfast Week.
