That this House welcomes the return of the Celtic Connections music festival to Glasgow; recognises that Celtic Connections has become one of the world's great Celtic festivals with more that 300 events at nine venues across Glasgow at this year's events; welcomes the combination of famous names, inspired collaborations and the cream of new talent from Scotland and farther afield; hopes that this year's festival can top the record 100,000 tickets sales achieved in the past few years, which generated more that Ãº3 million for the city of Glasgow; and further hopes that there will be many more successful years for Celtic Connections.
