Ira/sinn Fein Access To Westminster Following Northern Bank Robbery

EDM number 452 in 2004-05, proposed by David Burnside on 10/01/2005.

That this House notes the recent opinion of the Chief Constable of the Police Service of Northern Ireland that the Provisional IRA were responsible for the biggest bank robbery in British history, stealing ú26.5 million from the Northern Bank headquarters in Belfast; believes that members of the Army Council of the Provisional IRA, including Sinn Fein leaders Gerry Adams and Martin McGuinness, should be subject to arrest and interrogation by the investigating detective team with no immunity because of their involvement in the political peace process; and further believes that a wide range of measures should be initiated to penalise Sinn Fein, including the House being given an early vote to withdraw all access to facilities, privileges and allowances from Sinn Fein honourable Members.

This motion has been signed by a total of 6 MPs.
