That this House celebrates 40 years of the Cheltenham-based Cobalt Unit Appeal Fund; notes that over the years the appeal has pioneered equipment and services to support and complement those provided by local health trusts for the detection of prostate, breast and other forms of cancer; welcomes the Appeal's mobile magnetic resonance imaging scanners which provide ground-breaking diagnostic services to regional hospitals in the region; congratulates Dr Fred Hanna and all the volunteers and supporters of the appeal who have helped to make Cheltenham a centre of excellence for cancer treatments; and looks forward to the appeal continuing its excellent work for many years to come.
