New Title Of Hm Prison Service
EDM number 860 in 2003-04, proposed by Andrew Rosindell on 17/03/2004.
That this House notes the proposed deletion of 'H.M.' from the Prison Service; regrets this proposal and the disgraceful failure to notify the Sovereign; further regrets the gradual and creeping air of republicanism which permeates Government thinking; and urges Her Majesty's Government to repudiate this trend and highlight the vital role of the Crown in our national life.
This motion has been signed by a total of 13 MPs.
