Post Office Closures In Northern Ireland
EDM number 826 in 2003-04, proposed by David Burnside on 15/03/2004.
That this House is concerned at the plans to close 21 post offices in Northern Ireland; fears the closures will especially hit the elderly and disabled; calls on local residents in areas like Woodford, Newtownabbey and across the Province to petition the Post Office to maintain and expand local community services through its existing network.
This motion has been signed by a total of 17 MPs.
