ST PATRICK'S DAY AND PEACE IN IRELAND

EDM number 825 in 2003-04, proposed by David Burnside on 15/03/2004.

That this House wishes all Irishmen and women, both Protestant and Roman Catholic, a happy and peaceful St Patrick's Day on Wednesday 17th March; and in commemoration of Ireland's patron saint, calls on all terrorist organisations both Republican and so-called Loyalist to disband and decommission all their armaments, thereby ending all terrorist and criminal activities, immediately bringing permanent peace to Ireland.
