Celebrating The Entente Cordial

EDM number 808 in 2003-04, proposed by Wayne David on 11/03/2004.

That this House welcomes the celebrations which will take place to mark the centenary of the entente cordiale between the United Kingdom and France on 8th April; recognises the huge political, economic and cultural benefits of the relationship between the United Kingdom and France over the past 100 years; hopes that the celebrations will go beyond official events and high-profile visits; particularly welcomes the fact that there will be events in both countries to raise money for the fight against cancer; and urges all honourble Members to support and participate in national and local celebrations to mark this centenary.

This motion has been signed by a total of 54 MPs, 1 of these signatures have been withdrawn.
