26th Anniversary Of The La Mon House Bombing Atrocity
EDM number 609 in 2003-04, proposed by Iris Robinson on 11/02/2004.
That this House remembers with respect, the surviving victims and the families of the 12 people who lost their lives at the hands of the IRA when they bombed the La Mon House Hotel on the night of 17th February 1978; and supports the call from the families to have an independent public inquiry into this atrocity, and to ensure that the membership and role of leading republicans at that time is scrutinised fully in this inquiry.
