Cfc Leakage

EDM number 476 in 2003-04, proposed by Theresa May on 22/01/2004.

That this House notes the alarming rate of CFC leakage from end-of-life fridges; recognises the hugely detrimental effect of these gases on the environment; deplores the Government's inability to provide figures for the quantity of CFCs recovered from these fridges; notes that figures from Wales suggests a leakage rate of over 50 per cent.; and calls on the Government to publish figures for the whole of the UK as soon as possible, and to take action to reduce the rate of leakage as soon as possible.

This motion has been signed by a total of 54 MPs.
