Nomination Of George Papandreou As The Next Leader Of Pasok

That this House congratulates George Papandreou on his nomination as the next leader of PASOK and wishes him well in the forthcoming elections; notes that Mr Papandreou in his current role as Foreign Minister has improved relations with Greece's neighbours after decades of tension; and acknowledges his strong support for the European Union and the progress he has made in dealing with the Cyprus issue.
