Good Friday Agreement
EDM number 228 in 2003-04, proposed by Kevin McNamara on 08/12/2003.
That this House recognises that the people of Northern Ireland have spoken in the Assembly elections of 26th November and that the vast majority desire stability and fully-inclusive devolved government; believes that the Good Friday Agreement, endorsed by parallel referenda in Ireland, North and South, remains the only viable political framework; and urges the Government to press ahead in securing the full implementation of its wide-ranging provisions.
This motion has been signed by a total of 44 MPs, 1 of these signatures have been withdrawn.
