Bullying

EDM number 1941 in 2003-04, proposed by Nigel Jones on 17/11/2004.

That this House deplores bullying of all kinds; notes the growing practice of internet bullying which damages children, many of whom become suicidal; welcomes the work of the charity Bullying Online, which provides advice and assistance to families all over the United Kingdom who are in despair over school bullying; and urges the Government to extend funding to similar organisations which specialise in helping children counter the problem of bullying.
