SUCCESS OF BRIGHTON AND HOVE'S BUS PARTNERSHIP

That this House congratulates Brighton and Hove City Council on its award for excellence in the field of passenger transport by the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport in recognition of its innovative and successful partnership with Brighton and Hove Buses which has seen an average five per cent. per year increase in bus use in each year since 1993, helping to improve the environment across the City; and wishes the Brighton and Hove bus partnership further success following its short-listing for the Guardian Public Service Award 2004.
