400th Anniversary Of King James Bible

EDM number 1860 in 2003-04, proposed by Gregory Campbell on 02/11/2004.

That this House acknowledges that 2004 is the 400th anniversary of the King James (Authorised) version of the Bible; and recognises that it is a version written in the most wonderful English language and throughout the four centuries since publications has lost none of its splendour, still offering spiritual guidance and wisdom to millions in the 21st century.
