That this House celebrates the pioneering research of the ultra-low temperature physics group at Lancaster University, in particular for developing the world's best facility for experiments on superfluid helium-3 at temperatures close to absolute zero, used for instance to provide insights into the evolution of the early universe after the Big Bang.
