Tom Mann

EDM number 1798 in 2003-04, proposed by John Mann on 25/10/2004.

That this House rejects the inaccurate and misleading M15 reports recently released on Tom Mann, leader of the 1889 dock strike and early leader of the Engineering Union and of the Transport Workers Union, and ILP candidate for Parliament on three occasions and applauds his role in successfully campaigning for democratic rights for workers and their unions.

This motion has been signed by a total of 32 MPs.
