Operation Noah

EDM number 1701 in 2003-04, proposed by David Drew on 11/10/2004.

That this House welcomes the initiation of Operation Noah by the churches, to draw attention to the threat posed by climate change; believes that this action should presage the need for the world community to take this issue far more seriously; and urges the Government to join with the churches to lobby all national governments to sign up to the Kyoto Protocol as a starting point.

This motion has been signed by a total of 59 MPs.
