Senator John Kerry And Investment In UK Manufacturing

EDM number 1663 in 2003-04, proposed by John Mann on 15/09/2004.

That this House notes that the United States is one of the largest foreign investors in manufacturing in the United Kingdom, providing thousands of jobs for our people; further notes that for over 20 years this special relationship has created wealth for both the people of the United Kingdom and the people of the United States; believes that the re-election of George Bush on 2nd November will endanger that relationship and harm jobs both here in the United Kingdom and in the United States; is convinced that the Democratic nominee Senator John Kerry has the best economic policies for the United States and its partners abroad; and wishes him well in his attempt to defeat the Bush administration in November.

This motion has been signed by a total of 21 MPs.
