Little Lungs Are For Life Awareness Week

That this House welcomes the British Lung Foundation's 'Little Lungs are for Life' awareness week from 12th to 19th September, which will raise awareness of critical respiratory conditions such as respiratory syncytial virus, chronic lung disease, bronchiolities and asthma, and highlight breathing problems that the 40,000 premature babies born each year in the UK can suffer from, as their lungs are not fully developed; and calls on the Government to ensure that health providers and parents have access to information about these conditions and the steps that can be taken to reduce the risks.
