Farnborough And Textrons Cluster Bomb

That this House abhors the display for sale at the Farnborough international airshow from 19th to 23rd July of the US company Textron's cluster bomb; notes that this weapon was used in Iraq and is responsible for the deaths and maiming of many innocent civilians including children; agrees with the very many respected organisations who urge that cluster bombs be treated like landmines as they have the same effect; calls upon the UK Government to change its current policy of use of cluster bombs; and urges that no future weapons show in this country be allowed to promote the sale of cluster bombs.
