Swale Police Camp Xs-Energy

EDM number 1604 in 2003-04, proposed by Derek Wyatt on 07/09/2004.

That this House congratulates Swale Police for organising a five week long camp during the holidays for local 12 to 17 year olds to learn new skills; notes that the camp catered for 150 youngsters a day and that they participated in an array of activities from archery to quad biking; thanks the other local stakeholders who supported the camp; and commends the concept to other police forces; local authorities and educational institutes because there was a noticeable reduction in criminal damage whilst the camp was in operation.

This motion has been signed by a total of 13 MPs.
