That this House is appalled at the leniency of the sentence imposed by Bow Street magistrates court of a 12 month community rehabilitation order on a former Crown Court Judge, David Selwood, after he admitted downloading indecent images of young boys; fully supports the criticism of that sentence by highly respected child care organisations in the United Kingdom; and calls on the office of the Attorney General to seek a review of this sentence in view of the very serious offences committed by David Selwood.
