Location Of Wind Farms
EDM number 1514 in 2003-04, proposed by Gregory Campbell on 14/07/2004.
That this House notes the intention of the Government to increase the numbers of onshore and offshore wind farms in the United Kingdom; recognises the need for more renewable energy sources to be utilised; and calls upon the Government to ensure that the views of local people and the visual and natural beauty of proposed locations are taken into account before proceeding with potential sites.
