That this House congratulates Africans Unite Against Child Abuse on its third anniversary; welcomes its vision of a world in which African children can live free of cruelty and abuse at the hands of others; commends them in particular for the work of their Europe/UK programme on induction programmes for African children and families taking up residence in the UK; applauds its efforts in relation to trafficking, exploitation, the prevention of abuse within the home and at school, private fostering, socio-cultural traditional practices that impact negatively on children and children's rights and participation; and recognises that the African community and most importantly African children living in the UK must be key partners of a Government aiming to transform children's lives on the basis of every child matters.
