That this House congratulates Councillor Mahboob Hussain on his election as Chairman of Wycombe District Council; notes the claim of the Daily Jang newspaper that Councillor Hussain is the first councillor from the Pakistani/Kashmiri community to serve as the chairman of a district council in England; further notes that Councillor Hussain has previously served as Mayor of High Wycombe; and commends him for the work he has undertaken for people from all backgrounds in the town.
