Impact Of The Large Combustion Plant Directive;amdt. Line 7:
EDM number 1261A1 in 2003-04, proposed by Paddy Tipping on 27/05/2004.
leave out from 'manufacturers' to end and insert 'welcomes the detailed consultation the Government has undertaken; recognises that the National Emissions Reduction Plan (NERP) has been provisionally registered with the European Commission; notes the consultancy report commissioned by the Department for Trade and Industry into the impact of a NERP on domestic coal production and calls for the report to be published; notes that the impact of implementation of the Large Combustion Plants Directive by a NERP approach would be devastating for domestic coal production; and believes very strongly that the most appropriate way to implement the Large Combustion Plants Directive is through the Emission Limit Values option.'.
This is a ammendment to 1261.
